Yesterday near the Cades Cove sewage ponds in Great Smoky Mountains NP I found
a clump of thistles with seven species observed in about 15 minutes.  The
highlight were three female Diana fritillaries along with Pipevine
swallowtails, Clouded Sulphur, Great-spangled fritillaries, Clouded skipper,
Monarch and Common buckeye.
