From the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the North American Butterfly Association -
Ya'll come!

  For August 11, 2009:

Butterflies of the Night - Sugaring for Moths

Meet at Radnor Lake Visitor Center (enter from Granny White Pike), 8:00PM
Wear walking shoes and bring a flashlight. Should be done ~9:30. Call RLNA
for directions at 373-3467.

Join RL Ranger Leslie Anne Rawlings (and NABA members) for a fun and
interesting survey of the park's moth populations. A short, informative slide
show at the visitor center will be followed by an easy walk to several stations
where a sugary bait has been set out, attracting a variety of thirsty
Underwing moths and other nighttime flyers. A black light will also be set up
to bring in other surprises.

Leslie Anne will set up stations ~7:00 around Access Trail and dam area if
you want to meet at VC a little earlier to go along.
Call or e-mail NABA Secretary Nancy Garden at nancygarden@xxxxxxxxxxx or
615-370-4672 to register.
