Hi folks,
So for all of you wondering where all the butterflies are, they are at the
Lower Hatchie! The count today was fantastic with 42 species and 2868
individuals observed. There were very large numbers of sulphurs present with
Cloudless Sulphur appearing in higher than normal numbers. Sleepy Oranges also
made a good showing. It was nice to see the Southern Dogfaces back in good
numbers. And the 24 Dainty Sulphurs were a real treat.
But the best sightings were the 5 Bronze Coppers, 3 of which were male and 2
were female.
Yours,
Bart
