There almost was a fourth record. I saw one this morning but couldn't find it when I went back with my camera. I've checked the area 3 times since then. Keep your eyes open because obviously they're flying right now. After everyone left at 5 PM, I decided to look for odonates when I came upon a single Funereal Duskywing in Lake County. This is only the third county record for TN. The two other counties are Shelby and Stewart Counties. The host plant for this butterfly are in the legume or pea family. White clover and Apios americana are abundant in the area and others in this family are expected (Amorpha fruticosa is probably common). The Funereal was seen on the shoreline in a cove on Reelfoot Lake.
