Remember back in June we had the Tennessee Butterfly Foray? Well, I've finally got all the data compiled for a report. You can find a link to it at: http://avianpursuits.com/Butterflies_Main.html on the upper left of the page. Because of the Foray, Tennessee butterfliers were able to submit 62 butterfly records in 7 counties. Once the new BAMONA site is ready, there will also be a good number of moth records added. (we also had 38 dragonfly records submitted, many of which have already been accepted) There are a few photos of skippers that have not yet been positively identified. Some were already posted on TN-Butterflies, but still have questions about their identities. Any suggestions on what to do about them? Maybe I'll add links to the photos, so people can review them further. By the time you read this, those links may already be there. Any of the participants have any unidentified photos, let me know. I can put links to them as well as my own. There is interest in doing this again next year. If you have a suggestion of a place in the state with 2 or more nearby counties that need work, let me know. Thanks again to everyone that helped.
