Folks,
Our annual autumn Butterfly Count is scheduled for the coming Tuesday,
October 18 from 10-4. There are several count areas within our circle and
you do not have to count for the entire time to participate. All
participants pay $3, which goes to the North American Butterfly Association
to cover costs of organizing and printing the information. Cash or a check
made to NABA Middle TN are the only acceptable forms of payment.
Count Sites:
Those who wish to count at Owl's Hill may contact me through the web at
http://www.owlshill.org/events/freeprograms or by e-mail at
owlshill@xxxxxxxxxxxxx .
Rita Venable will be counting at Cheekwood at 10 am and at Warner Park at 1
pm. Contact her through me or at rita@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
There may also be someone counting at Radnor and/or Ellington - contact me
if that suits you best.
People wishing to count at Pinkerton Park, Grassland Park, Bison Meadow or
elsewhere in the count circle, please contact me. Neighborhoods, yards,
public areas with flowers are included.
