J.N.;

Your "small dark one" is quite likely a Juvenal's Duskywing and you'll be
seeing lots of them very soon. Good luck seeing the two tiny light-colored
spots on the underside of the hindwing, which clinches the I.D.!

Subject: [TN-Butterflies] FOY

Today on our property I saw a beautiful Mourning Cloak along with Tiger
Swallowtails, Spring Azures, an Eastern Comma, and a small dark one I did not
see long enough to try to identify so I hope to try tomorrow to find it again
or one like it.
