April 5, 2009 I spent about three hours today (late morning to early afternoon) birding and butterflying along River Road about 1.5 miles upstream of Paint Rock in Madison County, North Carolina. This site is very close to both Greene and Cocke Counties in Tennessee, so I'm taking the liberty of posting my day list on TN-Butterflies, as there may be other TN butterfly watchers in the area who are interested in checking out the site.
