Just an update. No Olympia Marble butterflies yet. The first date they were seen last year was April 18. Other butterflies are beginning to show up in greater numbers. The White Wood Vetch, on which the Marbles nectar, is about 8 inches tall now, so should be flowering soon. I haven't climbed the hill to check on the Rock Cress. Mustards are not in bloom yet; nor have I seen Plaintain-leaved Pussytoes. These are all plants that the Marbles were associated with last year. If anyone wants to stay at nice B&B owned by my neighbor, let me know. It's less than two miles from Marble Hill. She said she'd "cut a deal" for my butterfly people. This area is good for butterflies, moths, birds and odes... and wildflowers. I have a moth sheet set up, and would love fellow moth-ers to join me. Jean Obrist Cocke Co, TN
