[TN-Bird] waterfowl on Calderwood Lake

Hi folks,

Tracey and I took advantage of today's beautiful weather and went
paddling on Calderwood Lake, just below Cheoah Dam in NC.  On the way
there, we stopped to check out a raft of birds on the TN side of
Calderwood (Blount County, just NW of where the Foothills Parkway and
US 129 meet).

We were surprised to see that it consisted mostly of about 120
RED-BREASTED MERGANSERS  There were also 3 GADWALL, 2 HORNED GREBE, 1
REDHEAD and 3 GREATER SCAUP.

As an aside, the NC side of the lake had 2 Bald Eagles (one 1st year
bird, and the other near adult) 1 Pied-billed Grebe, 1 female Hooded
Merganser and one Red-breasted Merganser.
