I went to Crooked Branch Park in Old Hickory (Davidson County) this afternoon
and the water level of the lake is down pretty low making for some great
shorebird habitat. I saw 9 Solitary Sandpipers, 6 Lessor Yellowlegs, I Greater
Yellowlegs, I Pectoral and 3 Killdeer for 5 shorebird species in all.
