bravely ventured an "atta boy" posting on the listserve, I thought I'd risk
one too!

PLEEAAASE, DON'T stop sending your long postings about your experiences in
the field. I, as one not as species savvy as most of you, enjoy your
descriptions of the birds behavior, and the other details, probably more
than I care about the actual birds you sighted. Is that heresy?!"
