Ignore my previous inquiry. I visited Eagle Bend again today and didn't locate the pipits, but I've had a chance to review Sibley's guide, and the birds matched the "dark morph" adult winter pictures for American Pipits. There was little of note out at Eagle Bend today other than an American Kestrel. Thanks, Robin Barrow Knox Co.
