I have been on the patio catching up on some work stuff all day, and have
been enjoying a steady flow of migrants in the yard (in west Nashville) all
day. So far, we've had 34 species today, including:

White-eyed Vireo

Yellow-throated Vireo

6 warblers:

            Tennessee

            Nashville

            Cerulean (yard first)

            Hooded (yard first)

            Yellow-rump

            Prairie

Scarlet Tanager

Rose-breasted Grosbeak

The phoebes are on eggs under the awning over our front door. They are very
skittish and flush off the next every time we come or go during the day
(they seem more reluctant to flush after dark), so I am not sure how long
they will hold out. We also have some bluebirds and chickadees fighting
over one of our bluebird boxes. The chickadees appear to have the upper
hand for now, but the bluebirds are still making frequent visits as well.

Regards,

Chris Sloan
