(I've tried to include and clarify the basic ideas from the flyer. The
statement ought to be followed by a list of actual accomplishments, activities,
and consensus positions on particular issues, all of which might define the
organization better than the high-minded rhetoric.)
P.A.C.E is a grassroots organization dedicated to preserving the natural
environment and cultural heritage of Cocke county and surrounding areas.
-We value the extensive undisturbed landscapes, and the rich diversity of
native species and ecosystems of this region.
-We're concerned about the impact of resource pollution on environmental and
public health.
-We support locally-owned economic ventures that are compatible with natural
qualities.
-We oppose any activities that degrade the exceptional inherent attributes of
this area.
That's it. Easy enough to insert any additions, e.g., I'm concerned about
