I had my birdfeeder list all ready to send in but decided I'd better not. Don't want to hack off the "serious" birders with my lowly feeder count which, incidentally, is a direct result of my just having moved to my new home on the mountain. The birds are slowly but surely finding me. Some I've joined in THEIR habitat including a family of Pileated Woodpeckers and a couple of Great Horned Owls. I won't even mention my cat who, by the way, is indoors only but a serious bird watcher herself. She even has her own viewing platform. Nor will I mention the bears who visit my deck to compete with the birds for sunflower seed. So far it's Bears 3 feeders- Birds 1 feeder. Also I won't mention the turkeys, deer, raccoons, possums, squirrels, etc. who are regular visitors. Oppps. I just did. Sorry about that.
