After further review of photo and video, I feel I have confirmed the ruling that the bird at Lowes/Kroger, Clarksville, Montgomery County was a sharp shinned hawk. However, photographic evidence shows I was wrong on the Dover Road/Fire Department bird, as it was actually a Kestral. As to the other two birds I referenced in my previous email, I now withdraw my id as a sharp shinned, and enter an "I don't know." I guess I should look at the pix and see what is actually there and not make an assumption before hand. On 12-3-07, I saw, photod and videod a Kestral in front of the Vulcan plant on College Street in Clarksville at 1 pm.
