Route 340, Fish Hatchery Rd, near Briar Thicket Rd
Greene County, TN

At a pull-off area near the intersection of Rt 340 and Briar Thicket Road,
there were 70 - 100 Black Vultures on the ground, in the trees, and circling
above an area where people dump. The smell of carrion was strong. I have
never seen more than a dozen vultures at one time in this area. I counted 70,
and estimate upwards of 100.
