I hope this feeler is appropriate for our list. I am trying to find someone
in the Jackson area that makes bird houses - especially bluebird houses and
wood duck boxes to see if they would like to bring them to R & J Feed on
Saturday, March 8th, for their "Wild Bird Day". They want to have an
educational component to this event, as well as promoting the wide variety
of wild bird products they have been carrying and are continuing to expand,
so if anyone is available to give out information verbally or with handouts
about bird feeding, proper siting of houses, snake protection, etc...that
would be quite welcome.

It is my understanding that the sale of any houses would go to the maker
and not to profit R & J Feed, so perhaps someone might see this as a
financial opportunity as well as an eductional, plus providing more homes
for our wild birds. For more information you can email me or call R & J
Feed at 731 427 3531. I buy all my bird seed (and dog food) there since
they are reasonable, open to suggestions about products, and they load it
in the car for me!
