[TN-Bird] Yellow-crowned hight Herons Nesting At Nashville

A few days ago I received a request through the TOS web site to identify
some herons photographed at nests in Nashville.  The birds were photographed
on Thursday March 22 as they were building nests and, as is obvious in the
photos, displaying.  The herons were yellow-crowned night herons.  According
to the photographer, "They are close to the Richland Library.  There were
three nests and five birds.  Talking to a few people that were walking by,
they have been here for a number of years and they are early this year."
 

I don't know if this nest site is known to Nashville area birders.  You can
view the photos at http://www.pbase.com/donsibrel/nests.  Let me know if any
of you want to contact the photographer directly.
