[TN-Bird] Yellow-billed Loon - NO

TN-birders,
Dollyann & I made a quick trip down to Chickamauga Dam in Hamilton Co. to try
for the Yellow-billed Loon that was reported yesterday. We got there about 1:30
pm and scanned the area for about an hour. We did NOT find the Yellow-billed
Loon, but we did re-find the Pacific Loon that was reported recently. It was a
ways out from the dam and at the limits of our scope, but we feel sure of the
ID. We also did NOT find the Long-tailed Duck that was there over the weekend,
but we didn't really TRY to find it. We also did NOT find any Eared Grebes.
We also checked Booker T. Washington state park, Webb Road inlet, and the
Vincent Road boat ramp, but didn’t really see anything else that has been seen
recently. NO Red-necked Grebe and NO Red-throated Loon.
