Ruben and I stopped at Woods Reservoir in Franklin Co on the way home from
seeing a Dark-billed Cuckoo in FL, viewing conditions were excellent and
there were hundreds of Loons and Grebes all over the Lake. 2 young
Red-throated Loons were seen (the second flew in while we were watching the
first) as well as a Red-necked Grebe, all from the Dam. We had a possible
Eared Grebe but it disappeared before we could confirm. Also seen were FOS
(for us) Tree Swallows and a continuing flock of Greater Scaup.
