After getting a report from Dale & Jeannine Swant that there were some WW
Scoters at Woods Reservoir in Franklin County, Ruth Luckado and I headed out to
see them. We were fortunate enough to spot a pair of WW Scoters, a female
Red-breasted Merganser and a Greater Scaup, along with a couple of Common Loons
and a horde of coots. All of the birds were down near the Estill Springs end
of the dam. It was a beautiful sunny day, and the folks fishing at that end of
the lake were enjoying the parade of birders.
