At 5 PM the Snow Goose continued with 55 Canada Geese in the field just next to
the Weigels on Hardin Valley Road. Cherahala Boulevard is just to the east of
the field.

Thanks to all who posted regarding this bird.

The SNOW GOOSE was not present at Pellissippi Pond (Knox County) at 2:30 pm
today. A snow goose was, however, located a short distance to the east at the
NTRC retention basin off Cherahala Blvd (which is off Hardin Valley Rd). It
was hanging out with a number of Canada geese.

Also, there is a raft of REDHEADs at Solway Park (Anderson County) right now.
When I saw them, they were in the cove nearest the west side of Haw Ridge Park
(east of the boat ramp near Solway bridge). This is in the same area where
thousands of American coots have been seen recently.
