During the second day of TWRA's three-day bird workshop with Fred
Alsop, we birded from Millington north along the Mississippi River to
Reelfoot Lake. Thursday late afternoon, at White Lake WMA in Dyer
County, we had the best show of birds for the day including Least Terns,
Wilson's Phalarope, Black-bellied Plover, and a single Whimbrel loafing
in the shallows.
