Posted below is a chart reflecting the 2019 Whigg Meadow Bird Banding Station
results compiled by Jay Dedeker. 2554 individuals of 56 species were banded.
Highlights includes 3 species not captured previously; Dickcissel,
Yellow-rumpled Warbler and Swainson’s Warbler. Nets were opened from Aug.31 -
Oct 5 with no days lost due to rain. All birds banded on the permit of Scott
Rush of Mississippi State University.
