Could someone please help me out?

For several days now I have seen some sort of a woodpecker on a tree just
outside my livingroom window. It is eating from the holes (Already drilled) in
a maple tree. It has a black and white spotted back, with a mostly light brown
head. It also has a white line over his dark colored eye. I have not had a good
look at his underparts because he is always close to the tree. I have noticed
that he goes down the tree tail first. The bird appears to be about 6 to 7
inches.
After looking through several bird books, Could it be a Immature Yellow-bellied
Sapsucker?

I would appreiciate any help.

Thanks,
Linda Lynch
