I went cruising for shoreline on my way home Monday, checking out a few 
sinkholes and cow ponds for shorebirds.

     477 Taylor Bridge Rd., Washington Co., TN
Solitary Sandpiper â?? 4
Semipalmated Sandpiper â?? 12
 
This morning, Tuesday, the same species were still present at each site.  In 
addition were the following :

Purple Martin â?? 6
 
     Bailey Bridge Rd., (from bridge to Hwy 107), Washington Co., TN
Wood Duck â?? 1 at a sinkhole
Bank Swallow â?? 1 at the river
Cliff Swallow - many
