Mac and I have left unmowed several acres of mixed grasses in the upland
pasture our porch overlooks. This paid off today with a Henslow's Sparrow
(possibly two), plus a FOS White-crowned Sparrow. This is the second
sighting of Henslow's this week here; the first on 10/5 in the brushy
growth at the edge of the pond in the same field.
