A brief stop in Shelby Forest on Thursday provided a delightful morning chorus
high in the canopy. I identified a Kentucky Warbler, Blue-grey Gnatcatchers,
Northern Parulas (I didn't actually see these, but it's hard to mistake those
zippers), Cedar Waxwings, and a Piliated, a Red-bellied and a Downy woodpecker.
In addition, "somebody" has been drinking from my hummingbird feeders, but I
haven't yet spotted him. Still waiting for my FOS RTHU.
