Mr. Estabrooks and TN-birders, I have thought for some time that the burgeoning deer population must be having a detrimental effect on low-nesting species. Glad to see it in print in a prestigious newspaper. This article hit me between the eyes, because today I made a last visit of the season to Radnor Lake. I saw 0 warblers and 6 white-tailed deer.
