Walter S. Davis Blvd Marsh Nashville, Davidson Co. TN 2012 Nov. 19 On my way to work this Monday morning I made my morning stop at Walter S. Davis Blvd Marsh, continuing to look for AMERICAN BITTERNs, but I had no such luck. Instead, I got 2 firsts for my list of the this hotspot. I immediately saw a female NORTHERN HARRIER flying low over the far part of the lake. Several minutes later a male and female RUSTY BLACKBIRD perched in a denuded tree on the near side of the lake. The species raised my total to 103 for this small marsh with very limited access.
