Good morning Tn-birders…
I hope you’re keeping dry on this stormy morning…as it appears most if not
all of Tennessee is getting some much needed rain.
This is your weekly reminder of the January 2019 Wings of Winter Birding
Festival! Registration has been open for a few weeks now and we are ahead of
where we were for the last Festival…which we hope will translate into more
birders taking advantage of this wonderful opportunity!

registration and all the information you’ll need. Remember if you’re planning
on traveling with a partner you have to sign up separately. We’ve designed our
registration process that way as to avoid some of the confusion we encountered
last year with the same process. By doing it this way we know exactly the
choices of each individual. Also please remember that the host hotel is the
Quality Inn in Paris. Reservations need to be made directly through them and
if you mention “Wings of Winter” you will receive a special rate for that
weekend. We have 50 rooms blocked. When those fill up there are other hotels
in the area so don’t let that stop you from joining in on the fun. All field
trips will be leaving from the parking lot there at the Quality Inn and the
reception and dinner will be taking place at the Paris Convention Center…a mere
hop, skip and a jump from the hotel. PLEASE REMEMBER you MUST be registered BY
December 15th to participate in this great event.
