We just received news that the five remaining whooping cranes left the Chassahowitzka Refuge this morning. There will be an official press release tomorrow morning. The cranes are expected to be in Georgia by nightfall, but no one really knows where they will end up. For those of you in the Chattanooga area, keep your eyes open out at Hiwassee.
