March 15, 2009
I am having three visitors to my feeders that I don't normally have. One is a
male yellow- rumped warbler and the other are a pair of bluebirds. They have
been coming to my suet feeder which is a different cake than I normally buy but
nothing that unusual. The bluebirds have only come when there is snow on the
ground but now they have been coming all weekend (of course we did have snow
last week and so perhaps they discovered my yard). I have read that these
birds come to peanut butter suet cakes, perhaps that is what this cake is like
although it didn't say so. Now I will be specifically looking for these suet
cakes so I can continue to have these delightful visitors!
