Trousdale and Wilson Counties
Traveling
Left out this morning looking for Red-breasted Nuthatch in the above mentioned
counties. Had never had the bird in these counties and it looked like it might
be a good time to find them. Found on at Second Creek Boat Ramp in Trousdale
Co. Answered toot playback. Nice start to the morning. Searched several spots
in Wilson Co. No luck at Cedars of Lebanon State Park but I did pick up my FOS
Ruby-crowned and Golden- crowned Kinglets for Wilson Co. and had a Dark-eyed
Junco which tripped the ebird rare alert. Juncos are supposed to arrive early
October so it's probably more a lack of data issue than a real rare alert.
