The April issue of "The Tennessee Magazine", which is published monthly by
the Tennessee Electric Cooperative Association, has an interesting article
about Purple Martins in the state. It especially mentions the Purple Martin
Festival in Finger, scheduled for June 18 and 19. There is also a
photograph and article of Gibson Electric Membership Corporation Forestry
Supervisor and former TOS president Mark Greene accepting a plaque from the
TN Department of Agriculture and the National Arbor Day Foundation
certifyingGibson EMC as a Tree Line USA utility. Van Harris Millington, TN
