Feb. 20, 2006 There is a Jay being seen in San Ygnacio, TX, that is causing some conversation as to its ID. Q. B. Gay has allowed me to post a couple of photos. They probably do not show necessary details but will at least spark some speculation on the ID. Maybe, someone can come up with some details for others to look for in the field that might nail this bird to San Blas or Yucatan, an ID dilemma that you never thought you might have;o) The bird appears to be an immature but.........I can post photos that others have taken of this bird on this site if made available.
