This morning just before noon I was at Crooked Branch Park in Davidson Co.
when I saw a SWALLOW-TAILED KITE soaring low over the trees at the north
end of the park. I only saw the bird for a few minutes before it
disappeared. I walked the entire neighborhood north of the park, but was
unable to relocate it. I continued to search areas farther out, along with
Graham Gerdeman and Frank Fekel, but it was not seen again.
