This morning,4-16-03, we were happy to hear -and barely see- a Swainson's Warbler at Cove Lake State Park in Campbell County just off I-75. It was along the paved walking path approx. 200 yards down the path from the observation tower. This is the exact location where Swainson's have been found during the last several nesting seasons. We also heard the Prothonotary Warbler Nell Moore reported earlier this week. We also saw or heard Worm-eating Warbler and Common Yellowthroat. In the Norris Dam area in Anderson County today we got Parula, Yellow-throated[at least 25],Pine,Prarie,and Ovenbird.Amazingly, we didn't see or hear a single Yellow-rumped Warbler.
