My daughter and I did some birding and visited the Tennessee Aquarium today. We observed an adult male surf scoter at Nickajack Dam (on the lake from the north side) and another at Chester Frost park (flew in from the south). The female black scoter was still at Chester Frost as well this afternoon. No sign of the White-winged scoter at Booker T.
