This evening at 5:15 my son Christian and I witnessed a crow take an
American robin in flight! This occurred just feet from my driveway in
Bristol TN. The robin was flying south toward the front of my house when out
of nowhere a crow appeared and struck the robin in mid air. Both came to
rest quickly on the street and the crow quickly broke the robin's neck. The
crow then carried the robin to the neighbor's yard, plucked it and devoured
it. I have never seen a crow kill another bird and had no idea it could do
this in flight!

I have photos of all but the actual hit if anyone's interested I'll email to
you. The photos have been reduced to 70K total.
