[TN-Bird] State of the Birds 2009

The 2009 State of the Birds report has been released. This is a multi-agency
report examining bird population trends over the past 40 years. Hawaiian
birds, seabirds, coastal shorebirds, desert birds, and grassland birds are
showing the biggest declines and facing the biggest threats, while wetland
birds have done surprisingly well, thanks in large part to proper waterfowl
management. The full report can be viewed and downloaded at
