Gadwall, 100+, 1st I've seen this fall
Virginia Rail, 2
Tree Swallow, just 1
House Wren
Marsh Wren
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Gray Catbird, 1 or 2
White-eyed Vireo
American Redstart
Black-throated Green,  1 to 3
Magnolia,  6+
Swamp Sparrow, 10+

The church which owns the marsh is not ready to work on a management
plan at this time; we'll keep trying.  Any information re fish, amphibians, 
reptiles, mammals, plants might help.

Sora, young, past camping area and parking area across from marina,
  nothing marshy, just clay and gravel edge and tree roots, very tame
  and easy to approach, unexpected in that location and habitat
Winter Wren, same place as Sora, expected

Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, 3
Swamp Sparrow, 1, first I've seen in this neighborhood, no swamps or marshes
