On Saturday morning, the male and female ST Flycatchers were seen on Florence Road on the wires in front of the church just past the overpass for Tn 840. I still have not been able to spot their nest, if in fact they have one yet. There was also a single E Collared Dove in the same spot. There has been a small population of the doves nesting in the housing development beside the church and this has been a reliable area in the past to see the birds here in Rutherford County as they are still quite localized. This population seems to be down, but several pairs are nesting in the houses directly across the street (Broad) from the Children's Discovery House museum and tend to stay in that general area most of the day.
