9/1/09 Dyer Co I will post more details later (probably tomorrow), but one of the young Spoonbills was present today in the wet area that Jeff 1st found the two birds. I spent the day covering Chicksasaw north, after working all night. There were easily 700 various waders, mostly Great Egrets, in the willow-lined pond that the Spoonbill has been seen recently, but no Spoonbill. When I got to the wet area just south of the entrance to Moss Island, there were at least 300 waders at this location, including one Spoonbill. Good Birding!!
