At the TSU Walter S. Davis Marsh, I flushed a Snowy Egret from a snag in the
wetland as soon as i arrived. It flew out of view to the SW portion of the
wetland.

I had a nice walk at Radnor Lake this Monday morning. The
skies were overcast for much of the morning, but the
temperature was reasonably cool. Between the pump house
trail and the dirt road to the dam I heard a singing
CONNECTICUT WARBLER, likely the same one that was found
in that area yesterday. It sang extensively from 7:00 to
7:30am.
The spillway was all aflutter with warblers and vireos.
Also there was mama WOOD DUCK and her remaining 5 young.
Eventually I tore myself away and walked to Long Bridge.
Perhaps 20 yards before the bridge next to a large fallen
tree trunk, I got a very nice 30 second look at a silent
male CONNECTICUT WARBLER. This is perhaps the first time
that I've seen one before I hear him sing.
I finished with 12 species of warblers for the morning
including a WILSON'S and 2 CANADA WARBLERs at the spillway,
as well as a single YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER.
However, no MOURNING WARBLER was seen or heard. I also
missed the YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER near bench 10 that
was found by several birders.
