Standifer Gap Marsh, Chattanooga November 19, 2002 Snow Goose: The dark adult, that I reported at Standifer Gap Marsh 11/15/02, is still there. It appears more and more like it may be an escaped captive or domestic instead of a wild bird. It flys well, but usually keeps its distance by getting in the pond and swimming to the other side. I have no idea where it may have come from and would appreciate any suggestions. Virginia Rail: Still at north end, heard at least 3 yesterday. Warbler: I also had a brief view of the greenish back of a warbler in the cattails. Tennessee?
