Didn't get time yesterday for this quick post... A co-worker reported 4 white-morph Snow Geese circling overhead Monday morning (22 March) when he got to work. This is in west Knox County off of Pellissippi Parkway at the Hardin Valley exit. At lunch, I ran across the Parkway to the Pellissippi State campus to see if they had settled in at the pond there (where we had Snow, "Blue", Ross's, Greater White-fronted and, of course, Canada this winter). No luck but good numbers of Purple Martins and Tree Swallows. Again no luck this morning (Tues).
