Location: TN 2 Mem, Maxson Wastewater Lagoons(The Pits)/Earth Complex
Observation date: 10/23/07,1215-1250pm
Notes: Compared to yesterday, today was a bust. It's been raining/heavy
drizzle all day long. Ducky weather. Yesterdays Am Avocet no where to be
found. Least numbers are way down from yesterday.
Number of species: 7
Wood Duck 2
Mallard 61
Northern Shoveler 63
Killdeer 21
Least Sandpiper 300+
Belted Kingfisher 1
Eastern Phoebe 1
Location: TN 2 Mem,TVA PONDS
Observation date: 10/23/07, 1250-110pm
Notes: Misty drizzle rain all day today, Just ducky weather. lots of
Coots today close in.
Number of species: 11
Gadwall 17
Mallard 10
Northern Shoveler 27
Pied-billed Grebe 1
Double-crested Cormorant 7
Great Blue Heron 4
Great Egret 1
American Kestrel 1
American Coot 76
Killdeer 2
Eastern Meadowlark 9
